Call for papers: PFA Technical Program November Meeting

4 September 2010 is the deadline for submitting requests for technical presentations for the 4 – 5 November 2010 Polyurethane Foam Association (PFA) Technical Program.

Technical papers summarising recent research and product development, field studies, innovations in formulation or production technology and new equipment related to the processing of flexible polyurethane foam, as well as papers on product sustainability and environmental issues, are encouraged. Papers must have a non-commercial focus and specifically address topics related to slabstock or moulded flexible polyurethane production in North America.

A maximum of eight presentations, each 30 minutes in length, will be scheduled for the November meeting. A short summary (abstract) of the intended content must be submitted with your request to make a presentation. Based on a programme that includes at least six technical papers, the presentations will be scored to compete for a USD 500.00 Technical Excellence Award provided by the Herman Stone Family Endowment.

The Fall PFA General Business Meeting and Technical Program will be held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Buckhead, Atlanta, GA, USA, from 4 – 5 November 2010.
