iSmithers issues call for papers for “Thermoplastic Elastomers 2011”

iSmithers has issued a call for papers for its 2011 TPE conference. It will take place 8-9 November 2011, Brussels Sheraton Hotel, Belgium. Deadline for the submission of abstracts is 31 March 2011.

The conference will focus particularly on end-use applications. The organisers would like to especially highlight the following points:

  • Developments for the automotive sector
  • TPEs with significant bio-content
  • Developments for medical applications
  • PVC replacement

Papers are also welcomed on other end-user applications such as personal care, appliances, toys, tools, sports and leisure; current and future market trends; TPE material developments; new TPE compounds and additives; the impact of REACH of the TPE industry.

Paper submissions should include title, short summary (approx. 150 words), speaker name(s) and company name(s).
