BorsodChem inaugurates new TDI plant

borsodchem Zrt, the Hungarian subsidiary of chinese Wanhua Industrial Group, has officially inaugurated its new tDI plant at its site in Kazincbarcika in North-East Hungary. the new facility, which is now in commercial operation, has a capacity of 160 kt/y. According to borsodchem, this positions the company as Europe’s leading toluene diisocyanate manufacturer.
