Thermolast M now approved for processing up to direct blood contact

The product series Thermolast M from Kraiburg TPE recently has been certified according to DIN ISO 10993-4. This certification allows the processing up to the liability risk of direct contact with medicine and blood.

This means that the area of application for these compounds has been crucially expanded. They can be used now for septa, infusion and syringe plugs, seals and medical tubes.
The compounds are available in hardness degrees from 30 to 70 Shore A. They can be gamma-sterilised and are suitable for steam sterilisation up to 134 °C.
