Call for papers: Medical Device Polymers 2011

The medical device market is growing to provide for an ageing global population and to provide new technology for effective treatment of disease. Polymers are readily formed and shaped with a wide variety of properties and formulations for different applications including orthopaedics, neuro, wound care, drug delivery, infusion kits, and cardiovascular. Regulations and standards are stringent for innovations and safety is top priority.

Papers are invited on all aspects of the use of polymers in medical devices, including market trends, polymers for different applications, manufacturing technology, testing, standards and certification, durability/biocompatibility, cost comparisons, innovative technology, etc.

The deadline for submission of abstracts is 3 December 2010.
