UTECH Europe 2012: Air Products

Air Products manufactures a variety of additives, intermediates and prepolymers for use in the polyurethane industry. These products are widely used in automotive, bedding, furniture, appliance, construction, shoe and many other industries. Non fugitive catalysts will be a focus for Air Products’ trade show presentation, as it helps European automotive OEMs to meet specifications such as VDA 278.

This year, the company is celebrating 50 years of supplying Dabco catalysts. Air Products obtained the Dabco business and patent rights when it acquired the Houdry Process Corporation in 1962.

At the UTECH, Air Products will be launching a new generation of non-emission catalysts for the European market: Dabco NE1090 and Dabco BA305. Both these new products have been designed specifically to produce non-emission moulded TDI foam that can meet the humid age specification that is required by automotive OEMs. New catalysts and surfactants for rigid and flexible foam applications will also be showcased.
