Francesco Franceschetti Elastomeri promotes medical TPEs at Compamed

Under the brand name Marfran.Med the Italian compounder Francesco Franceschetti Elastomeri is promoting a series of new thermoplastic elastomers that are suitable for applications in the medical field. The certified compounds are produced according to ISO 13485 and are in accordance with USP class VI and ISO 10993. During production an optical selector excludes granules with imperfections. The grades allow sterilization methods such as steam (121°-134), UV Ray, EtO and e-beam, and peracetic acid. There are hardnesses available from O Shore A to 65 Shore D. The series includes grades for processing via injection moulding, extrusion, blow moulding, and dipping.
