Franplast introduces crystal-clear TPEs for fatty food contact

Chemiton TVB are USP class VI and ISO 10993 approved oil-free TPE compounds specifically developed by the Italian compounder Franplast in regards to conformity with fatty food contact. Chemiton TVB 0NA65.001 is crystal clear and in accordance with the European regulation 10/2011/EU.

According to Franplast the compound is characterised by an extremely low migration level, when in contact with simulant D2 (olive oil). Additional benefits are a very high resistance to alcohols and sterilisability by various methods, including steam-autoclave. Chemiton TVB is suitable for injection moulding and extrusion. It is highly compatible with PP, PE, EVA, etc. and therefore suitable for cost effective co-injection and co-extrusion processes for the manufacturing of multicomponent items.
