Ten Brink new President of Europur
At the last Board of Directors meeting of Europur, Bart J. ten Brink, CEO of FoamPartner and Member of the Group Executive Board at Conzzeta AG, was elected as new President of the association. His mandate is effective from 1 January 2015. Charles Schulpen from Multy Foam was elected as successor Vice-President for Ten Brink.
Kjeldsen new Head of Evonik's PU foam business
Effective from 1 January 2015, Lauren Kjeldsen takes over the management role as Head of the Business Line Comfort & Insulation within the speciality chemicals group Evonik Industries AG.
Laubach to head new Argotec office in Germany
Argotec LLC of Greenfield, MA, USA, a producer of TPU films and sheets, has opened its first international office in Hamburg, Germany. Heading up Argotec Deutschland GmbH is Soenke Laubach, Commercial Director – Europe, who joined the company on 1 January 2014.
Brink new President International of IISRP for 2014 – 2015
Dr. Abraham Brink, President and Commercial Director of Karbochem, has been elected as new President International of the International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers (IISRP) for the year 2014 – 2015. He succeeds Shinobu Watanabe, who now becomes Past-President International.

Bob Barlow has been named as President and CEO of Zeon Chemicals L. P., effective from 1 January 2015. He succeeds Tom Gettelfinger, who is retiring after 42 years of service to Zeon and its predecessor.

Russell C. Broome has been appointed as new Managing Director of the Society of Plastic Engineers (SPE). Broome has almost 25 years of experience in the plastics industry. He began his career as a plastics engineer focused on product design, manufacturing, and project management.
Rzepka new President and CEO at A. Schulman
Bernard Rzepka, 54, was named new President and CEO of A. Schulman, effective from 1 January 2015. He will replace Joseph M. Gingo, 69, who served the company for seven years in this position and who will retire on 31 December 2014.

Pack new Head of Evonik’s Performance Polymers business unit
Effective from 1 June 2014, Dr. Michael Pack has become Head of Evonik Industries’ Performance Polymers business unit. He succeeds Gregor Hetzke, who has led the business unit since 2008. Hetzke assumed leadership of Evonik’s Advanced Intermediates business unit on the same day.

Michael Lorig, 46, is the new CEO of CQLT SaarGummi Technologies S.à r.l., effective from 1 September 2014. He succeeds Larry Johnson, who will be responsible for the company’s business in North and South America. Johnson remains a member of the group’s management board.
