Bart J. ten Brink succeeds Ward Dupont, who has been serving for 15 years on the Board of Directors, including 13 years as President of Europur. Ten Brink has already been a member of the association’s Board since 2009 and served as Vice-President since 2012. Ten Brink absolved his major studies at the University of Tilburg (VAT) Netherlands and at Stanford/NUS Singapore (Executive Management). He has been working in the polyurethane industry for more than 24 years.

Ten Brink is looking forward to his new role: “As an association our aim is to make flexible polyurethane foams more visible and it will be my pleasure to lead Europur’s focus on issues crucial for our industry. We will work actively on regulatory developments. These include current discussions at EU level regarding materials used in our industry and the end-of-life of flexible polyurethane foam containing products.”

Charles Schulpen, Director of Multy Foam, was elected Vice-President as successor for Ten Brink. Schulpen has studied at the University of Leiden, the London School of Economics, and the University of Heidelberg. In 1992, he obtained his Master degree in Law and started working in the industry.
