Behn Meyer Europe & Performance Additives

Since the acquisition of Flexsys Italy SpA by the Behn Meyer group in February 2011 and the subsequent renaming into Performance Additives Italy SpA, Behn Meyer Europe GmbH is responsible for the distribution of the Perkacit Dithiocarbamate and Thiuram accelerators in Central Europe and Scandinavia. Performance Additives is well-known for their processing aids produced in Malaysia and since 2011 also in the US. According to its strategy to be a one-stop supplier for speciality chemicals and raw material for the rubber industry Behn Meyer Europe GmbH also offers a range of other rubber chemicals like Insoluble sulfur, cobalt coupling agents, zinc oxide, fillers, resins, fatty acids, antioxidants etc. as well as synthetic rubber from producers from Insa (NBR) and ESBR from ISP (ESBR).

The portfolio also contains white seal/green seal grade zinc oxide from Managem, Morocco, as well as a portfolio of resins under the Resinblend label. The latest addition are silica grades from different sources.
