Azelis extends distribution agreement with SO.F.TER.

Azelis has extended its distribution agreement with SO.F.TER. Tecnopolimeri, an Italian supplier of engineering plastics and thermoplastic elastomers. According to Azelis, building upon its partnership with SO.F.TER through existing sales in France, Benelux, Italy, Nordic and CEE, the new agreement now includes Spain.

To help support this highlight, Adrian Blakemore was appointed as Sales Manager - Azelis Plastic Polymers for Spain in June.

The new activities in Spain center on supply to the automotive, domestic appliance and rail sectors, with speciality materials ranging from technical reinforced polyamide, polypropylene and polyester grades.

Clement Cruaud, International Business Director for Azelis Polymers, says "Since we recently started our Spanish business we have already developed a growing business in engineering polymer materials.

In addition to providing technically advanced products from leading manufacturers, we offer customers across the whole of Spain assistance on the choice of materials, provision of TVP data for engineering mould-design purposes, and on-site technical support to assist with the optimisation of processability and material performance."
