BASF participates in Renmatix
Renmatix has developed the Plantrose platform, by which industrial sugar can be produced in large quantities from lignocellulosic biomass (wood, cane trash or straw). The company has already demonstrated the functionality of the process in a pilot plant. In cooperation with BASF, Renmatix intends to move it to the industrial scale.
