Russian fluoropolymer producer Halopolymer joins SPI

Halopolymer Holding announced to be the first Russian company to have joined the Washington-based SPI: The Plastics Industry Trade Association. The PTFE producer sees the SPI membership as an important step in strengthening its position in the US market.

According to ­Halopolymer, its PTFE production capacity reached 12,700 t in 2011 of which about 80 % are exported to more than 30 countries, including the USA. Already in the spring of 2012, HaloPolymer opened its first overseas representative office in the USA, Halopolymer Trading, Inc., with headquarters in Houston, TX, and storage facilities in Houston and New York.
