MALAYSIA: Supermax to double nitrile glove production

Supermax Corp. Bhd expects to double its nitrile glove production capacity to 12 billion pieces by 2013, from its current 5.2 billion capacity.

Its executive chairman and group managing director Datuk Seri Stanley Thai said major nitrile latex producers would grow their production capacity, which would result in lower prices due to the high supply.

The company plans to upgrade its three plants production capacity to 52% from the current 35% by 2013.
