In May 2013 the Polish-Dutch injection moulding specialist Bianor, based in Bialystok, Poland, opened a new production site in Ploiesti, Romania. The company said that the country offers promising business and development opportunities, particularly with emerging manufacturing businesses in South-East Europe. The new 4,700 m2 facility has a core team of 35 employees and ten injection moulding machines.

Bianor’s CEO Hans de Haas said that for the export-orientated supply industries Romania is becoming increasingly important in Europe. He sees main opportunities for his company in the automotive sector, but also in areas such as consumer appliance manufacturing industries.
