THAILAND: PTTGC moves to dissolve BPE, PTTPE

PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC) said that on 30 Aug. 2013 it registered the dissolution of its Bangkok Polyethylene (BPE) and PTT Polyethylene (PTTPE) subsidiaries.

BPE and PTTPE were transferred to PTTGC on 1 July 2013 \"to enhance the effectiveness of the management and administration of companies within the PTT group, which will in turn increase fluency and support the sustainable
growth of the business\".

The process of the liquidation of BPE and PTTPE \"will be proceeded in due course,\" PTTGC noted.
