Avalon TPUs for various applications now available from APS Elastomers

Huntsman Polyurethanes’ Avalon polyester-based thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPUs) have been added to APS Elastomers portfolio for use in a variety of applications.

The durable Avalon TPUs from Huntsman Polyurethanes improve the production and performance of industrial parts, ski goggles, caster wheels, cables, shoes parts, conveyor belts, and seals. Also available in transparent grades, Avalon TPUs are said to offer the following benefits: excellent surface definition, matt or glossy effects, good colourability, outstanding abrasion, superior flex performance, rubber-like look and feel, as well as reliable bonding to certain engineering grades of thermoplastics.
