Energy label for plastics and rubber machinery
Up until now, machinery manufacturers have used labels of their own design to show the energy efficiency classes identified in that way. In order to make the energy efficiency classes transparent, a common neutral label has now been developed. Unlike the EU energy label (e. g. for refrigerators), the Euromap label is voluntary.
Also, no third-party certification is required in order to display it. The precise description of the new energy label is available as free download from the website www.euromap.org. The label is to come into force on 1 October 2014.
