Univar closes Quaron acquisition
Its logistics network is supported by laboratories, tank and warehouse storage, and mixing facilities. Univar says the acquisition brings additional added-value services such as storage, diluting, and mixing.
Univar represents over 2,500 chemical producers and has about 80,000 customers. The company operates a network of 179 distribution facilities throughout North America, Europe, and China. In 2009, Univar reported sales of USD 7.2 billion.
