New series of low temperature compounds
There are injection moulding and extrusion grades with Izod notched impact resistance up to 75 kJ/m2 at -20 °C available. The low density (0.9 g/cm3), the low processing temperatures, and the good flow characteristics allow the design of lightweight parts at low production costs.
Irfran does not require predrying before processing; paintable versions are currently under development. All grades are approved for food contact.
The company proposes Irfran for various applications such as sports and personal protective equipment, appliances, equipment, safety devices, toys, sheets, car and motorcycle components and accessories, luggage, and containers for storage and handling at low temperatures.
