PTS: Specialising in hard/soft combinations and new technologies

A speciality of PTS Plastic-Technologie-Service Marketing & Vertriebs GmbH are compounds for hard/soft combinations with a full range of adhesion-optimised grades for different hard substrates.

The TPE portfolio includes the brands Thermoflex, Thermoprene, Uniprene, Desmoflex based on Bayer’s Desmopan, Uniflex, Pebax and Gammaflex. Several compounds from PTS will be used in a live demonstration in an 2K application on a Billion machine with a Weber mould (hall 15, stand B24).

In January 2013 the company based in Adelshofen in Southern Germany announced a capacity increase for TPE compounds by 3,000 t/y owing to a new compounding plant. The total capacity of the PTS Group (PTS-Compound and CPP Creative-Polymers) is now 23,000 t/y. At K 2013 PTS is co-exhibitor of the Bayern Innovativ GmbH joint stand.
