UNITED ARAB EMIRATES: RSA-Talke negotiates key contract with Dow for Sadara production
RSA-Talke has signed what it referred to as a “key contract” with Dow Chemical for the storage of petrochemicals to be marketed by Dow from its Sadara Chemical Co. joint venture with Saudi Aramco in Saudi Arabia.
Dow in 2012 reached an agreement to market and sell the majority of products produced by Sadara, which is currently completing a 20-billion dollar complex in Jubail comprised of 26 units designed to produce over 3-million t/y of petrochemicals and plastics.
RSA-Talke, a 50-50 joint venture between RSA Logistics and Alfred Talke Logistic Services, is building a 10,000-square meter large container terminal and warehouse for petrochemicals in the Jebel Ali free zone in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. A completion date was not available.
