Vitafoam Kenya visits ce|de|pa

A delegation of Vitafoam Kenya, a leading group in Kenya active in the bedding and furniture industry, came to Europe in mid-October 2015 to visit the continuous panel development centre  ce|de|pa – Centro de Desarrollo del Panel en Continuo, a joint venture of Saip Equipment (60 %) and the Dow Chemical Company (40 %), located in Tudela, Navarra, Spain.

Together with representatives from Saip and Dow, Mr. Rakesh and Mr. Vishal C. Shah, respectively Chief Executive Officer and Management Executive at Vitafoam Kenya, have analysed a few growing industrial sectors in Africa, in particular the cold chain and related technologies involved. According to ce|de|pa, Vitafoam Kenya is growing and is looking for innovative solutions, both to enrich its core business and to differentiate it.

In ce|de|pa the Vitafoam representatives had the chance to deepen their knowledge about Saip and Dow technologies, also by assisting to a practical demonstration. With the aim of testing insulation at extreme temperatures, experimental formulas and targeted equipment were used. The trials were rewarding and the customer was satisfied, says ce|de|pa.
