BAHRAIN: JGC gets contract for gas processing unit to be built for Banagas south of Manama

JGC Corp. has received a lump-sum turnkey contract to build a new gas processing plant (GPP) for Bahrain National Gas Co. (Banagas) in the Bahrain oil field south of Manama.

The contract, valued at Yen40-billion, involves the engineering, procurement and construction of a GPP with a daily processing capacity of 350-million cu/ft. It is intended to recover naphtha and liquefied petroleum gas.

Completion is scheduled in September 2018.
