UNITED ARAB EMIRATES: Al Shirawi in certification for insulation system

Al Shirawi Contracting has completed the product conformity test of its latest range in polyurethane (PUR) or polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam segment. Dubai Central Laboratory (DCL) awarded the certificate of Product Conformity to the company’s Eterno Combo Roof System.

Eterno, a spray-applied rigid polyurethane thermal insulation foam system, is EN 14315-1:2013-compliant and meets the most stringent building standards for thermal insulation and density requirements. The range comprises CFC-free products that comply with Dubai Green Building regulations and specifications.

Prior to the certification, the DCL authorities performed third party assessments to ensure that the product development methodology and documentation system are at par with international standards, following which an extensive audit was conducted on site to ascertain that critical quality control requirements are met and adhered to.
