THAILAND: PTTGC mulls investment in ABS sector
PTT Global Chemical Public Co. Ltd. (PTTGC) said it is assessing plans to create further synergies this year, including an investment in the acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) sector.
A project is currently in the study phase for construction of a styrene monomer manufacturing plant to support expansion in the ABS sector and fill gaps in PTTGC's polystyrene business value chain.
Results of the study will be announced "in the near future," PTTGC noted, without providing details.
