Sika opens concrete admixtures factory in Dubai
Sika announced that it has opened a factory in Dubai Industrial City to develop its operations in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). An existing production facility for concrete admixtures has been relocated to the new site and expanded.
A mortar facility and a reactor for producing polymers have been installed and will constitute the basis for the production of customised concrete admixtures. In addition, the facility will serve as a sales and distribution centre for the entire Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) area. The speciality chemicals company has subsidiaries in 101 countries around the world and manufactures in over 200 factories. Sika generated sales of CHF 6.25 billion in 2017 with more than 18,000 employees.
