Woodbridge named one of Canada's Best Managed Companies for 2019
Woodbridge is once again listed as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies. This is the third consecutive year the company has been recognized for overall business performance and sustained growth.

Established in 1993, Canada’s Best Managed Companies is the country’s leading business awards program, recognizing excellence in Canadian-owned and managed companies. Each year, hundreds of businesses compete for this distinction, taking part in a rigorous and independent process that evaluates the caliber of their management abilities and practices. Applicants are evaluated by an independent judging panel comprised of representatives from program sponsors in addition to special guest judges. Winning companies share commonalities that include a clear strategy and vision, investment in capability and commitment to talent.

Continental investing in India
Continental is building a plant to manufacture automotive surface materials in Pune, India. According to the company, a 12,000 m2 manufacturing facility with an initial annual capacity of 5 million m2 is to be built on the four-hectare plot at a cost of about EUR 22 million. The factory is scheduled to begin production in 2020 with a workforce of up to 110 employees initially. Continental will supply surface materials to the local Indian market from Pune.
