Huntsman: Reduced operating rates at MDI facility in Geismar
On 15 October 2020, Huntsman Corporation announced that due to a mechanical failure at a third-party raw material supplier, its MDI facility in Geismar, LA, USA, is experiencing a partial outage which is estimated to last approximately five weeks.
According to Huntsman, it is currently estimated that this will impact the company's fourth quarter adjusted EBITDA by approximately USD 15 million. The company said it will provide an update on its third quarter earnings conference call on 29 October 2020.
