DKT IRC 2021 rescheduled
New date: 27 to 30 June 2022

Due to the corona pandemic, Deutsche Kautschuk Gesellschaft e. V. has rescheduled DKT IRC 2021 to summer 2022. After intensive consultation, the committee responsible for organizing DKT IRC 2021 has decided that the conference and trade show cannot take place as planned from 28 June to 1 July 2021. The trade exhibition will be moved to 27 to 30 June 2022. The venue NürnbergMesse will remain the same.

“The long-term effects of the pandemic have surprised us all. Until the beginning of the fourth quarter of 2020, we still assumed that the DKT IRC 2021 could take place in Nuremberg as planned. However, if one sums up the status of the epidemic today, a conference/exhibition as a face-to-face event is very unlikely to be realized”, the DKG board said.

For the DKG, this cancellation means a considerable loss of revenue, since the Society's non-profit activities are financed primarily by the income generated by the DKT conferences and fairs. In order to be able to maintain support and assistance to its members despite the additional burdens caused by the pandemic, DKG asks all exhibitors not to reclaim their down payment for the booth, but to leave it with DKG for the booth in 2022. DKG expects to be able to offer an equivalent service package at a comparable price in 2022 to all exhibitors.
