Woodbridge: Sustainability recognition from EcoVadis

Woodbridge announced it has been awarded a Silver medal by EcoVadis in recognition of ranking in the top quartile of all organisations assessed globally by EcoVadis for sustainability performance. Woodbridge’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme and related policies ranked in the 85th percentile of all companies assessed.

EcoVadis evaluated the quality of Woodbridge’s sustainability management system through its policies, actions and results. The assessment focused on 21 sustainability criteria around four themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. Woodbridge was recognised for its CSR programme which is built upon five pillars: Environmental Sustainability, Community Involvement, People, Conduct & Ethics, and Supply Chain.

“Woodbridge is committed to continuously improving our sustainable business practices,” said Roland Deschamps, General Counsel and Compliance Officer, Woodbridge. “We believe our focus on ethical behaviour and protecting our teammates, the environment and the communities in which we operate is the foundation of good business.”

Accoding to Woodbridge, participation in the survey is just one of several initiatives which the company has undertaken in recent years to improve its practices and meet the requirements of its extensive global customer base.
