SI Group: Global price increase for rubber and adhesive additives
SI Group announced on 15 November a price increase for its rubber and adhesive additives. The company said that pricing for impacted products will increase by up to 25 %, effective immediately or as contracts allow.
“As a result of significant inflationary pressures impacting the cost of materials, transportation and operations, as well as regional demand increases, we must adjust our product pricing,” said Robert Kaiser, VP Rubber & Adhesives Solutions at SI Group, adding, “Despite ongoing efforts to mitigate the impact of the market conditions on our customers, we must adjust pricing to reflect today’s market reality.” The new pricing will ensure ongoing and future investments for SI Group to deliver proven additive solutions to customers while safeguarding global security of supply.
