FSK: International Specialist Conference Foamed Plastics and Polyurethanes 2022 postponed

“Back in Presence” should be the motto for the International Specialist Conference Foamed Plastics and Polyurethanes 2022 of the Specialist Association Foamed Plastics and Polyurethanes (Fachverband Schaumkunststoffe und Polyurethane e. V. – FSK) on 26 – 27 January2022 in Dortmund, Germany. Information on innovations and trends, a forum for expert presentations and a marketplace for knowledge exchange, intensive networking and socialising, as well as welcoming participants from all over Europe should be resumed.

However, according to the association, this does not seem responsible or feasible in view of the current record levels regarding the Covid 19 pandemic. The FSK has therefore decided to postpone the conference to September 2022. The exact date will be announced in due time, said the association.

The programme topics for the event in September have already been planned: In addition to the two-day conference programme and the announced expert presentations focusing on sustainability and circular economy, artificial intelligence (AI) and flame protection, as well as a panel discussion on the topic “Circular economy – re-sorted?”, the training platform specially developed by FSK will be presented. The event will be rounded off by a factory tour at Atlas Schuhfabrik GmbH & Co. KG in Dortmund, which will open its doors to the conference participants and provide insights into the organisation, logistics and production. The FSK Innovation Award Foamed Plastics and Polyurethanes 2022 will also be presented during the FSK Specialist Conference in September 2022.
