ACC releases 2006 socio-economic impact of the PU industry on the U.S. economy
An analysis summarising the importance of the polyurethanes industry to the U.S. economy was released by the Center for the Polyurethanes Industry of the American Chemistry Council.
The analysis of the PU industry covers the entire value chain – from suppliers of chemical raw materials to their direct customers and then to the final producers of consumer and industrial goods. The 18-page report focuses on diisocyanates and associated polyols based on research conducted during the December2006 through January2007 period by Moore Economics.
