Albrecht Bäumer: Hauck new CEO

On 1 January 2021, Christoph Hauck took over the management of Albrecht Bäumer GmbH & Co. KG as sole managing director. Nina Patisson, the great-granddaughter of the company's founder and former CEO, retired from operations on 1 February 2021, but will continue to support the company in her role as shareholder.

For the first time in the company's 75-year history, Bäumer will now be managed solely by a non-family member. “We are confident that Christoph Hauck brings both the right education, experience and personality to this position,” Patisson said.

Hauck, 57, studied electrical engineering, specialising in automation technology, and has worked primarily in engineering and sales for companies in Germany and abroad. For the last 19 years he was managing director of a company in the electrotechnical engineering sector. With stability and sustainability, he wants to keep the “big ship” Bäumer on course, relying in particular on almost 400 motivated employees. The new CEO wants a “silent transition”. “I achieve this by acting as if it were my own company, with prudence and a well-founded weighing of opportunities and risks for every decision,” Hauck said. Christoph Hauck said he appreciates both the sense of togetherness of a family business and the cooperation with many different nations and cultures. His top priorities are being a first-class supplier for customers and creating satisfaction for shareholders as well as sustainability for the workforce.
