Biesterfeld announced that it is expanding its long-term partnership in the field of paints and varnishes with Evonik, a leading manufacturer of chemical specialities. Following the companies’ successful cooperation for a selected portfolio in various countries, Biesterfeld has received further distribution rights. With immediate effect, the company is now the exclusive distributor for Evonik’s Coating Additives business line (CAD) in Central and Southeastern Europe.

Biesterfeld Performance Rubber is strengthening its long-standing collaboration with industry-leading polymer supplier ExxonMobil Chemical by taking on the distribution of Oppera in the European market.

The Krahn Chemie Group, which is part of the globally operating Otto Krahn Group, has acquired majority stakes in six companies from Jollis AB & Partners, Sweden.

Effective 1 April 2021, Solvay will expand the distribution in the EMEA region (excluding Italy) of its Solef PVDF and Halar ECTFE specialty polymers through Biesterfeld Plastic and Ixef PARA via Albis.

Arburg announced that in January 2021 it has entered into a trade partnership with LSVN Co. Ltd. to expand its injection moulding business in Vietnam. Headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, LSVN has more than 20 years of experience in the field of injection moulding, during which time it has successfully established itself as a distribution partner and service provider for the injection moulding industry.

On 14 January 2021, Biesterfeld announced that it is expanding its partnership with Denka Company Limited by taking on the distribution of Denka ER acrylate rubbers with immediate effect. The new agreement applies to the whole of Europe (except Spain and Turkey), Russia and Brazil.

ER-WE-PA Davis-Standard GmbH announced that SIFEM Electronique will serve as Davis-Standard’s sales agent in France. SIFEM has more than 40 years of experience in industrial projects and extrusion applications encompassing film, sheet, pipe and profile, and wire and cable. As Davis-Standard’s representative, they will be responsible for facilitating direct contact with plastic converters and stakeholders throughout France, specifically identifying converting needs and marketing packaging solutions.

Azelis has a new partnership with Ocsial, the world’s largest single-wall carbon nanotube manufacturer. Under the agreement Azelis distributes Ocsial’s Tuball range in France and the UK. Tuball single-wall carbon nanotubes can be used to achieve non-black antistatic and conductive applications.

Songwon has announced a number of new distribution agreements with several companies in Europe as well as Canada. Bodo Möller Chemie Benelux N.V. has been supplying customers in Belgium, Luxemburg and the Netherlands since 1 January 2020, and Bodo Möller Chemie UK Ltd took on responsibility in the UK and Ireland on 1 May 2020.
