Smarter Shows to host Foam Expo 2017 in Novi, MI, US

Over 2,000 industry leaders, manufacturers, suppliers and service providers from the entire foam manufacturing supply chain—along with buyers, executives and other decision makers worldwide—are expected to come together at the first US Foam Expo from 28 February – 2 March 2017 in Novi, MI, USA.

The event is being organised by Smarter Shows, a global exhibitions and conferences organiser that specialises in launching manufacturing and engineering technology-focused events in the USA and Europe. According to the organiser, the exhibition and integrated two-track conference will be North America’s first exhibition and conference to serve the entire polymer foam market, which comprises of polyurethane, expanded and extruded polystyrene, polyolefin and phenolic foams, across the moulded, rigid and flexible foam sectors.

150 manufacturers of technical foam materials, products, equipment and services will have the opportunity to connect with end user buyers from industries including aerospace, automotive, construction, industrial, marine, medical, packaging, transportation and renewable energy.

With the global polyurethane market alone valued at USD 46.8 billion and expected to reach USD 72.2 billion by 2020 (Markets and Markets, 2015) due to increasing applications for end user sectors, the demand for foam is set to increase over the next five years creating commercial opportunities for the North American foam manufacturing sector.
