Cannon to exhibit technologies for composites, thermoforming and PU processing

The Cannon Group announced that it will present all its solutions for the industrial processing of plastics in hall E2, stand C51, at this year's Chinaplas, which will be held from 25 – 28 April 2016 in Shanghai.

Several refrigerator foaming lines in China feature the Cannon RotoPlug system, which allows a change of model within seconds, without losing production time.

The group has been present in China since the early 1980’s, when its first representative office was opened in Bejing. Today, the company has more than 100 local employees, spread in three regional offices and one factory.

In line with the exhibition theme “Greenovation for a Smart Future”, Cannon Far East—the group’s company present in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Huangpu—will present latest technologies and equipment for the processing of composites, thermoformed parts and polyurethanes, including amongst others:

  • Complete solutions for mass production of carbon- and glass-fibre reinforced composites, e. g., dispensing units and mixing heads for epoxy, polyurethanes and vinyl esters; solutions for carbon-reinforced parts made with HP-RTM, wet moulding and prepreg technologies; preformers, presses, moulds, peripheral equipment, finishing, handling, process and quality control; infusion machines, degassing units and glue dispensers for eolic blades; as well as presses for SMC, GMT, and LWRT (light weight reinforced thermoplastics).
  • Industrial thermoformers, e. g., high-productivity, heavy-duty machines for the refrigerator industry (cabinets and door liners), the automotive industry (dashboards, interior panels, protection hoods, fuel tanks), and technical articles (industrial pallets, special containers, signs, luggage, etc.).
  • Polyurethanes, e. g., dosing units and mixing heads for flexible, rigid, microcellular and structural foams; complete plants for slabstock, rigid panels, refrigerators and freezers, and automotive parts (seats, dashboards, steering wheels, door panels, headliners, encapsulated glasses, NVH absorbers for carpet underlay, dash mats, cavity filling and under-the-hood components).
