Saip supplies sandwich panel line to Isopan in Romania

The Italian company Saip Equipment has installed a combined production line for insulated sandwich panels, either with PU/PIR or mineral-wool core, at the new factory of Isopan located near Bucharest in Romania.

According to Saip, the line is in operation since January 2018 and has an annual production capacity of around 1.6 million m². The panels produced on this line can have lengths ranging from 2 – 15 m.

The line features Contitech technology in the foaming section, the panel formation area and the cutting section. In addition, it is equipped with tailored elements, such as a double disk cutting system, a fixed hanging head system, a caterpillar that enables the precise positioning of side blocks, a specially designed overlapping system, as well as an endlapping system, which is used to create a foam-free zone close to the eaves area.

 

Isopan is one of the largest global manufacturers of insulated metal panels for residential, industrial, commercial, livestock buildings and temperature-controlled environments. The company operates plants in Italy, Spain, Romania, Germany, Russia and Mexico.
