Lehmann&Voss&Co.: OTOS part of Luvomaxx product range

Lehmann&Voss&Co.’s Luvomaxx group will offer the vulcanization accelerator Luvomaxx OTOS.

After the only supplier with REACH registration had stopped manufacturing at short notice, the company was able to win a long-standing Asian partner for vulcanization chemicals as a new supplier for Luvomaxx OTOS. The supplier is aiming for a REACH registration in a tonnage band up to 100 tons a year. It is remarkable in this context that re-start of manufacturing could take place at short notice and, Lehmann&Voss&Co is able to close the current supply gap for OTOS in Europe.

Luvomaxx OTOS will be available in form of oiled and non-oiled powder. The accelerator OTOS is basically a traditional product, which has proven its excellent properties in special applications. The product is for instance used in anti-vibration mounts based on natural rubber, where Luvomaxx OTOS enables excellent heat- and reversion-resistance. Furthermore it is used in EPDM sealing profiles, which particularly require high elastic restoring respectively very low compression set properties.
