VersaFlex expands into new facility

The polyurea coatings supplier VersaFlex is moving into a new headquarters and manufacturing facility in Kansas City, KS, USA. The ISO registered company formulates, manufactures and supplies pure polyurea coatings, liners and sealants for a wide variety of industrial, commercial and maintenance environments.

At just over 100,000 square feet (~ 9,290 m²) the new building provides ample space for all manufacturing needs. The new facility will also provide the space for increased inventories of raw materials and finished goods. Moreover, a large investment for a full capacity product development and testing laboratory is being made. In addition to the existing quality control/quality assurance ISO certification, the new laboratory will also be submitted for ISO Certification as a Quality Product Development Facility. VersaFlex says it continues to experience solid growth and will be increasing its staff of support personnel. Plans are also in the works to construct another polyurea training facility inside the new building, much like its Houston Training Center in Texas.

Furthermore, Sector Media Strategies (SMS), an independent company originally backed by VersaFlex, has recently purchased the polyurea coatings and linings industry’s website portal Polyurea.com. SMS was established to provide market development and support services for all companies in the polyurea industry.
