Giorgio Bombarda, 51, has been appointed as new General Manager of Automata, a member of the Cannon Group.

Ten Brink new President of Europur

At the last Board of Directors meeting of Europur, Bart J. ten Brink, CEO of FoamPartner and Member of the Group Executive Board at Conzzeta AG, was elected as new President of the association. His mandate is effective from 1 January 2015. Charles Schulpen from Multy Foam was elected as successor Vice-President for Ten Brink.

Kjeldsen new Head of Evonik's PU foam business

Effective from 1 January 2015, Lauren Kjeldsen takes over the management role as Head of the Business Line Comfort & Insulation within the speciality chemicals group Evonik Industries AG.

Mark P. Vergnano, 55, currently Executive Vice President of DuPont, will serve as CEO of the new, independent USD 7 billion Performance Chemicals company after its separation from DuPont, which is expected to occur in the second quarter of 2015.

Zachert appointed as new CEO of Lanxess

Lanxess AG has announced that the Supervisory Board of the company has resolved to end by mutual agreement the appointment of Axel C. Heitmann as Member and Chairman of the Board of Management, effective 28 February 2014. Matthias Zachert has been appointed as his successor. Zachert, former CFO of Lanxess, and currently CFO of Merck KGaA in Darmstadt, Germany, will take over as Chairman of the Board of Management on 1 April 2014.
