CHINA: Oxea achieves mechanical completion on new Nanjing specialty esters unit

Oxea said that its specialty esters plant at the Nanjing Chemical Industry Park in Nanjing, China, has reached mechanical completion and is now in the commissioning and start-up phase.

The plant will increase the company's global production capacity for specialty esters by 40 %. A specific capacity for the facility was not given.

Oxea last year said it had started construction on its first oxo derivatives plant at the Nanjing Chemical Industry Park that would initially produce specialty esters, phthalate-free plasticizers and other oxo derivatives for the local market and was expected to reach mechanical completion by the end of 2013.
