Woodbridge wins Ontario Green Chemistry Award 2010

Woodbridge Foam Corporation, a global supplier of PU and EPP components, has been awarded the Ontario Green Chemistry and Engineering Award 2010 for its focus on “green” chemistry and clean technologies.

This award is presented to an organisation which is based in Ontario and which has made significant contributions to the field of "green" chemistry and engineering, including the technical, economic, human health and environmental benefits. According to Woodbridge, the company's involvement with "green" technologies dates back to its creation in 1978 and was identified as a key initiative, not only to address what the company saw as emerging customer and societal needs but also as an element of it's own business platform that recognises health, safety and environmental stewardship as being fundamental in all of it's activities.

With its partners in the World Polyurethane Alliance Woodbridge supplies customers throughout Europe, North and South America, Japan, Korea, China and South Asia. The World Polyurethane Alliance is a united collection of urethane manufacturers offering design, engineering and manufacturing, in more than twenty countries. Members include:

  • The Woodbridge Group (North America)
  • Proseat (Europe)
  • Inoac (Japan)
  • Poliuretanos Summa Woodbridge (Mexico)
