KraussMaffei to showcase insulation panel portfolio at Big 5

The KraussMaffei booth at the Big 5 Building and Construction show in Dubai, UAE, from 22 – 25 November 2010 will showcase a broad selection of the company’s products with the focus on its Reaction Process Machinery division. KraussMaffei will inform about its systems for producing insulated panels and for insulating double-walled pipes.

The whole bandwidth of insulation panels will be illustrated at the show

Among other topics, the spotlight will be on the company's double belt system for the automated production of insulated panels used in interior and exterior applications. With product samples, posters and presentations, KraussMaffei will illustrate production of the whole bandwidth of insulated panels – in different thicknesses, colours and formats and with outer layers of different materials to match customer specifications.

Another focus is on the company's systems for insulating the double-walled pipes used to transport district heating media, water and oil, or for encapsulating telecommunication lines. Using KraussMaffei PU foam systems, the gap between the two walls can be filled with polyurethane foam, so that whatever is inside is well-protected from external elements.

Finally, there is an overview of rigid foam applications for the whole building and construction sector. These range from producing door panels with a rigid foam core to insulating collectors for solar water heating.

"Our solutions for the building and construction sector and for all conventional rigid foam applications – such as insulating pipes and manufacturing refrigerators and boilers – are more in demand than ever throughout the Middle East," explains Maximilian Wankerl, Area Sales Manager at KraussMaffei. "Our presence at the Big 5 show is part of our drive to strengthen our market position in this sector and to give ourselves a launch pad for applications in other sectors, for example, automotive."
