Cellular Technology Europe opens applications lab in Zele, Belgium

Jürgen Hickl, Managing Director of Cellular Technology Europe Ltd. – a UK based distributor of polyurethane, textile and coating additives, recently welcomed Andre Van de Velde to the company. Van de Velde will head up the company’s new applications laboratory based in Zele, Belgium.

The laboratory opened in the second quarter this year and will provide service to Cellular Technology’s European flexible foam customers. The new lab offers a full physical testing facility and can undertake hand mix trials.

Andre Van de Velde has more than 40 years of experience working in the flexible foam industry, both at Recticel and as an independent consultant.

“This new facility will allow us to support a high level of development work with customers and reinforces our commitment to the European flexible PU foam business”, stated Jürgen Hickl during the recent Europur general assembly.
