BioBased names new senior leaders

BioBased Technologies has named Amy Sorrell as CEO and Robert Porter as COO of the company. Sorrell joined the company as Controller in 2005 and was later promoted to CFO.

Before joining BioBased, she worked for various accounting firms, including Ernst and Young, and as a consultant. Porter joined the company in 2007 as Vice President of sales and marketing. Previously, he worked 16 years for Eli Lilly and Co.
