ChemFoam appoints new Vice President

The Atlanta, GA, USA, based trading company ChemFoam International Inc. has recently appointed Barry Gabelman as Vice President for Sales & Marketing. Gabelman holds a law degree and MBA. Whilst completing his studies he has been working for ChemFoam in a sales and marketing role and already has extensive experience of interfacing with customers and suppliers across the globe.

A fluent Spanish speaker, Gabelman is adding business development in South America to his portfolio as well as developing sales in the Middle East and Asia. ChemFoam sells TDI and MDI, and acts as Repsol’s sales agent for flexible slabstock polyols in North America. The company also has a joint venture that sells flame retardants. In Europe, ChemFoam’s activities are predominantly focused upon flame retardants, surfactants and other additives for the flexible polyurethane industry.
