Generation change at Rampf

With effect from 1 January 2011, Matthias Rampf, 33, took over as CEO of Rampf Ecosystems GmbH & Co. KG based in Pirmasens, Germany. He is following in the footsteps of his father Rudolf Rampf, 66, who has retired from active operational management of the Rampf Group with effect from the end of the year 2010. From now on, the company founder's role will be limited to that of Chairman of the Board of the umbrella company Rampf Holding GmbH & Co. KG.

Additionally, Matthias Rampf continues to be responsible as Managing Partner of Rampf Holding for the fields of research and development. He has a degree in business administration and has been employed in the family firm since 2005. Before being appointed as Managing Partner in 2008, he was in Osaka establishing Rampf Group Japan.

The owning family took a first step towards securing the management succession back in 2005, when the founder's eldest son Michael Rampf, 36, joined the management of the umbrella company. He has since been responsible in the role of Managing Partner for Sales and Marketing, Quality Management, IT, Security and HR within the Group.
